The Multi-Story Orchestra with St Thomas the Apostle Orchestra
Resident orchestra at Bold Tendencies in Peckham, The Multi-Story Orchestra create amazing live classical music experiences performed by incredible musicians and have been celebrated as one of the most exciting ensembles to emerge in recent years: “the response was ecstatic, and it deserved to be” (The New York Times).
This concert will bring together a choir of more than 100 children who are creating a new piece of music with the amazing singer songwriter Abimaro Gunnell and our composer Kate Whitley specially for this concert. The Orchestra will also perform Kate Whitley’s Sky Dances – commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra and performed in Trafalgar Square last year – and dances from Stravinsky’s infamous ballet Petroushka.
