Ode To Lucius Presents: 12 Photos 12 Tracks
In 2017 Austrian born musician & producer Stergin sent a Polaroid camera on a global journey to 12 people in 12 countries, spanning all the continents. Each person had one opportunity to take a photo of somewhere special to them.
It took nearly two years for the camera to circle the Earth. After all 12 photos were returned, Stergin worked together with band ‘Ode to Lucius’ to create 12 compositions inspired by the photos and their connected stories. These compositions use images to conjure musical motifs and lyrics that take the original stories into a new realm created by Ode To Lucius.

12 Photos 12 Tracks is borne from fact and elaborated with fiction to present a 3-tier multi-media show: photography, music and moving image. Striking live visuals and an accompanying photographic exhibition take us on a journey bringing the human race back together in a disconnected world.
The band plays a mixture of rock, classical and electronica with soaring melody lines, clarinets, violins and raw rhythms.
The photographic exhibition will be open from 7 pm.
Fiction: Live is a series of independent live events held at Bold Tendencies, inspired and concerned with the 2019 programme theme of Fiction.
