with young players from St Thomas The Apostle College and Harris Academy Peckham
For a programme spanning Bach’s 1st Brandenburg Concerto written in 1721 to I am I say by composer Kate Whitley and poet Sabrina Mahfouz written last year, The Multi-Story Orchestra will be joined by a choir and orchestra of children from local primary and secondary schools. Multi-Story’s previous performances of Kate Whitley’s works for children’s choir and orchestra have been hailed by The Telegraph as ‘moving, and beautifully performed’ and listed in their ‘five best classical music moments of 2015’.
