Bold Tendencies

From some old music by Bach to some brand new music by Rūta Vitkauskaitė. Jude Carlton (our timpani player and percussionist) has put together this concert with Rosanna Ter-Berg (flute), Hannah Morgan (clarinet) and Matt Maguire (viola).

We’ve probably all heard Bach’s music at some point, but this eclectic ensemble (including at least two instruments we’re sure Bach would have loved if only he’d ever heard them!) will cast it in a fresh light. We have no idea what Ruta will create for the ensemble yet – but having heard her other music (check out her accordion piece ‘For Many Thousands’!) we know it will be fresh and beautiful.
