THE MULTI-STORY ORCHESTRA: STRAVINSKY RITE OF SPRING + LIVING PROGRAMME NOTE
10. 09. 2017 6:00 PM
The Multi-Story Orchestra first performed in Peckham in 2011. Ever since that inaugural performance of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring they’ve been wanting to play this monumental work again – and thanks to the amazing team at Selfridges and Bold Tendencies that’s been made possible.
This time you’ll also get your own personal tour of this memorable work with musicians from the Orchestra in a Living Programme Note directed by Fraser Trainer exploring the top four floors of the car park. The full 92-piece orchestra then comes together for a full performance of the piece with conductor Christopher Stark.
Part of the Music Matters at Selfridges campaign.
